What have you learned about love?

This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for February 13, 2009:
"Do you think of love as one way street?" Private Emotion - Ricky Martin & Meja.
Coicidently I was just listening to that song when I open this page's link. That song's line kind of catch my attention, it's so much alike with the way I feel about the situation that at this moment I've got to deal with.
About an hour ago, I went through a meeting with couple of people from our work team. Most of us understand much that we're creative worker who aware much about our work deadline, but having trouble to obey the 9 - 5 work hours. The problem is, our company want us to obey the regulation they've made, or else, we're going to be kicked out of the company.
It's true that we should of love & fullfil everyone's need, but first thing first, the one that we've got to love is ourselves right? It's also true that when we love then we must be prepared to give our best, or even all, on a mutual relationship. But the same thing won't do on a "one way street" kind of love.
That way I decide, since usually I've manage to accept them for who they are, giving all my best for whom ever they were. So if the they can't accept me for who I am, then I don't have any obligation to accep them for who they are, or even fullfiling whatever they need.... Let by gone, be by gone ^,^
