This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for September 06, 2009:
Those people who try to "push" what ever they believe in to my brain. I'm wondering why they're so eager to make me a lot more like them?

Help

Dewi,
You are not alone in your experience. E. E. Cummings said: “to be nobody but yourself in a world in which everyone tries to make you like everyone else, is to fight the hardest battle of your life and never stop fighting.”——————————-. Conformity, and the so-called common mind is what makes people comfortable. Self-reliance and individual thought is not accepted by the common mind, the common mind cannot generate its own independent thought and therefore, rejects the possibility of any independent thought as nonsense. People seek agreement, without agreement one must stand alone, and to stand alone requires self-esteem which is a rare trait in a world of agreement and followers.
When I was a kid I did the opposite of what everyone else told me…………………………..and I was right:) LOL
Much love to you at this time.
@ Will: Thanks for the support & information. GBU
@ Liza: Yup. The other way around, I used to be a very nice kid but somehow unhappy. Now when I decide to be happy, I don't care to much on being nice. Thanks & much love to you too ^_^
